Launching A Website In 3 Simple Steps

Launching aa website made simple

Launching a website is easy.  Planning ahead is always prudent.  Here’s a brief rundown of what is required to getting a site online and attracting traffic.

1.  Construction And Design
When choosing a  designer, don’t cut corners on cost.  This can be a drastic mistake.  Instead, look for some one who communicates well, and has an impressive portfolio.  Ideally, you need someone who can take your ideas and convert them into a design.  In some cases it’s better to hire separate desingers and coders.  This can sometimes save you money if you don’t go through a large design house.

2.  Press Release
Any website launch preparations should include the creation of a dynamic press release.  Hire a writer if you need to, and really make this thing stand out.  The press release should be focused and attention grabbing.  It should spark curiosity and attract interest.  There are plenty of press release services online that will make sure it is circulated.  Prepare to spend a little money, but a good targeted press release can make or break your successful launch.

3.  Marketing Plan

Every business needs a plan.  Web sites are no different.  Getting the word out about a new product or service doesn’t have to be difficult, but it does take preparation and planning.  There are a million ways to focus your marketing attention:  Paid click advertising, banner advertising, content and article marketing, viral marketing, social networks and link exchanges, just to name a few.  Prepare your plan and set some goals for visitor growth.

Getting your site online is only half the battle.  Drawing attention to your site is the other 75%. (wink, wink)
