Reboots Coming

Tuesday, October 31st, 2006

As you may know there are 2 reboots happening this November 1st, CSSReboot, and StandardsReboot.

I’m hoping this leads to an influx of new announcements, but given the age of the site, I may well be busy manually adding some of the more outstanding reboots myself.

If you are rebooting, please do add your site, and save me a little time.

New Logo is Here

Friday, October 27th, 2006

I’ve just refreshed the site a little and added the new logo built by the nice people at Kontruct.

What do you think?

New Features?

Saturday, October 21st, 2006

The site has been live for a about 5 days, so it’s time to think about new features.

I think RSS feeds for tags (and groups of tags) will be the first on the list, followed by a “email this announcement” to send launch information via email to friends.

What features do you think should be added?

New Logo Coming

Friday, October 20th, 2006

The current logo is nice, OK, I’m being kind.

The process of designing a new logo for the site has been started, and hopefully as soon as next week, a new logo will be ready.

Non-English Sites

Friday, October 20th, 2006

If you wish to announce the launch of a non-English language site, please do so by becoming a member.

I do not speak much of other languages, so I do not feel comfortable approving non-English language sites, since I am not able to check the contents.

I will update the submission page to include a note about this.

Thanks.

Featured!

Friday, October 20th, 2006

Launch Feed was featured in CSSmania, the very popular CSS gallery. Hopefully more accolades will follow!

Of course I have already listed the site on Light On Dark, which I run, so I’m not biased at all!

Also featured on: screenalicious, dailyslurp, cssbloom

DevLounge has selected Launch Feed as one of Sites of the Week.

Welcome

Just getting thing started. Doesn’t every website need a blog!

Still have to skin this beast with the Launch Feed design, but didn’t want to hold up the posting of great Launch Feed News.
